As for Corelle, I've used Winter Frost White for 37 years, so it has passed the test of time. Great, unless you drop it just wrong, then shatters like untempered glass.

These are great bowls, but they are being sold by Amazon for four times the usual price (e.g. you can buy them for $2.99 each on Corelle's own website).
Most of Amazon's other Corelle prices are about the same or in some cases less than Corelle's own, so it wouldn't surprise me if this pricing was just some sort of error. In any case though, don't get swindled.

This bowl is perfect for feeding a cat wet food. Since it's becoming more widely known that dry food isn't good for cats (their bodies aren't designed for dry food) more people are switching to a high quality canned or raw diet. These bowls are just the right size, clean easily & are hard to break. I've had them for over 20 years & never broken one!

Update: My order arrived today and much to my surprise there was just one bowl, not at least a set of 4 as I expected. So the description is accurate, but the product is seriously overpriced, if you consider that the price generally varies from $2-4 each for much larger pieces when you are able to purchase them in sets. So the bottom line is that although I like the bowls, I would not recommend them from a value for the money perspective, and if it were possible to edit the star rating would reduce it.
Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but I've looked over this whole page thoroughly, including the reviews, and can't find anywhere in the descriptions the number of bowls included for the $7.49 price. Amazon lists dimensions and weight (both 1 and 4 pounds), but not how many bowls are included in the set. Certainly $7.49 and even one pound indicate more than the single bowl that's described, but how many more is a mystery. Based on a review of another Corelle single dish (the poor reviewer ended up with 8 sets of 6!), I'm going to be conservative and order one. I'll let you know how it works out.
The bowls themselves (I already have four), are great. They're durable, stack nicely, and the perfect size for ice cream (my favorite) or any other small treat.
