Product Description The Pavina espresso/shot glass is the winner of the European iF Design Award. This set consists of two espresso or shot glasses, each one with a 2-ounce capacity. Mouth-blown, the espresso/shot glasses are double-walled which help insulates hot or cold beverages. With this unique design, your beverage appears to float inside the inner layer of clear glass. Dishwasher-safe.
Amazon.com Review At last, a glass that won't burn or freeze your hand. Two walls of clear glass with an air layer in-between not only keep drinks cold--or hot--but prevent condensation from forming on the outside. So, an ice-cold shot of vodka or a steamy espresso feels just right, no matter the temperature. And coasters won't be needed, either. Winner of the prestigious European iF Design Award, the mouth-blown Pavina glass exhibits Bodum's flair for the modern. Each two-ounce glass curves beguilingly and fits the palm just right. Mouth-blown of borosilicate glass, which is quite a bit thinner yet much more durable than regular glass, the two Pavina glasses in this set are safe for both the microwave and dishwasher, resist temperature swings, and resist scratching and dulling. Care should be taken when placing ice cubes in an empty glass, and metal spoons for stirring are discouraged. --Ann Bieri Editor's Note: Because each glass is mouth-blown, each one may have slight differences in height, thickness, and weight. Bodum recommends using care when placing ice into the glass to avoid fracturing the inner layer. You should also avoid using metal spoons or placing the glass into a crowded dishwasher.

Glass expresso shot glasses February 22, 2010 Kurt W. Shuck (Oakland CA) One must be careful not to remove the small rubber tab on the bottom of the glass, which might be confused with a label. It actually serves to cover up a tiny hole that allows air and moisture into the thermal wall.
Perfect February 18, 2010 Shawn O'Donnell (Anchorage,Alaska) If you have a espresso machine you want these babies for catching you shot, they are delicate but if you handle them with care the are fine even in a dishwasher.
Relativley inexpensive and are very stylish on their own I use them alsmost every day.
Given As A Gift February 7, 2010 firephoenixla I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend last Christmas. The product is sturdy and attractive and he uses it everyday.
Great little glasses February 3, 2010 LosCA (Scottsdale, AZ) As far as these glasses go they are pretty much great in all aspects. They do the job, and they do it well. They also look great while doing their job. Some reviewers on here complained that the glasses were not build well or that they were too fragile, I have not found this to be true at all. Of course if you're washing the glass in the sink, and you drop it, it might break/crack, but that's just how glass products are. If you want unbreakable, buy plastic products. I generally use the glasses for expresso shots with my Nespresso Cube Coffee machine, and if I have to find one thing to fault the product (for me) on, I'd have to say that it's when I am pouring the shot of coffee into a larger glass, as it'll usually spill/drip down the side a little because the glasses do not have even the slightest lip around the top/rim. But if you pour fast enough, not really a problem (I've gotten used to this). All in all, great little glasses! Very happy with them.
Realy Cool February 2, 2010 DS (Renton, WA USA) These are great little shot glasses. I use them every day and they have been dropped but haven't broke. They stay cool even when filled with steaming esspresso, and are attractive as well.
