I got two sets of the Chocolate Mint Correlle dishes for Christmas in 2009 and just recently purchased a second set. These dishes are great! They aren't very thick - which allow me to store them easily in my limited cabinet space. However, when I place hot food on them, the other side of the dish can become quite warm.
As for the design, I don't think they are overly feminine - my boyfriend likes them and he's usually pretty picky. The great part is that the blue/green design matches my kitchen decor.
I wish that this set included the luncheon plates as well - these need to be purchased separately and aren't always available on Amazon.

I ordered 3 boxes of this 16-piece, Chocolate Mint, and every single box is missing a "6-3/4-inch Bread & Butter Plate". It is the 15-piece set, not 16-piece set as stated.
The color doesn't look so bright as seen in the picture but the color fade and not so sharp.

I ordered 3 sets of the dinnerware (so we would have service for 12). They arrived in 3 separate sealed boxes. Each box was missing 1 of the smaller (bread and butter) plates. Amazon customer service was great in helping with this problem, but the manufacturer should check the packages before they were sealed. The plates themselves are wonderful and would have been worthy of a 5 star review if the packages contained what they should have.

I love my dishes...BUT (knew that was coming), one of my bowls broke in my dishwasher. Disappointed? You bet I was. Nevertheless, I still love my new dishes and would buy Corelle over and over again.
I also have a separate issue with World Kitchen...and it's not a HUGE one just one that I wanted to share. I've ordered two sets of these dishes and both times I only got 3 out of the 4 "bread and butter" plates. Weird. Just be forewarned. They're a great company though, and have sent me the plates without hassle.
