The clean lines and the fine white look of this dinnerware meets my expectations. The dinner/luncheon plates have a round circular bottom and are slightly deep to be able to hold sauces without worry of spill-over. The smallest bowls are perfect for ice cream or a small dessert, just the perfect size for that little treat. The luncheon plates are plenty big for a whole meal, while the dinner plates are perfect for those above-average appetites. Very pleased with this purchase.
